Campbell Area Police Report

Brandishing a weapon
6/17 at 8:19 p.m.

John D. Morgan Park, Rincon Avenue
A victim was at the picnic bench near the foot bridge. Two suspects approached on foot with one brandishing a large stick. A few minutes later, the victim walked to his car in the upper Rincon Avenue lot. Suspect 1 ran at him with a baseball bat but suspect 2 called him back. Suspect 1 turned and walked thru the park with suspect 2. The victim left and called the police.

Under the influence of or in possession of a controlled substance
6/20 at 11:10 p.m.

Rose Court
A male suspect, 21, was causing a disturbance at his residence. The suspect was determined to be under the influence of a stimulant. An arrest was made.

Grand theft/auto
6/22 between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m.

East Hamilton
An unknown suspect stole victim’s 1991 Chevrolet from the carport area.

Public drunkenness
6/26 at 2:37 p.m.

East Campbell Avenue
Suspect passed out in a parking stall in the parking lot.

Assault
6/27 at 8:50 p.m.

Whiteoaks Road
A male suspect, 32, was pushing shopping carts in the roadway. When an adult female victim passed by there was a verbal altercation. Suspect swung and missed the female. An arrest was made.

Grand theft/auto
6/28 between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m.

McBain Avenue
Victim’s Toyota Camry was stolen from the driveway.

Burglary/vehicle
6/29 between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m.

West Campbell Avenue
A suspect smashed the window to the victim’s vehicle and stole a Dell laptop computer.
